Plaintiff, Katherine Adams, sued defendants, Dr. Kellie Jones-Monahan and Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, alleging that Dr. Jones-Monahan was negligent in removing Adams's gallbladder. The jury returned a verdict in Adams's favor and assessed damages against defendants in the amount of $561,389.90. The trial court denied defendants' motion for a new trial. On appeal...
