Valerie R. White (appellant) pled guilty to a possession of cocaine charge under Code § 18.2-250. The trial court deferred the finding of guilt, pursuant to Code § 18.2-251, commonly referred to as putting a defendant on "first offender status." The court eventually entered a conviction on the possession of cocaine charge, finding appellant did not abide by the conditions of her first offender status.
