Rodney R. Elkins sued Telecheck Services, Inc. after various merchants declined his checks after Telecheck disapproved them. Following a three-day trial, a jury found in Elkins's favor on his negligence, defamation, and Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) claims.
