In June 2005, after a stipulated bench trial, the trial court found defendant, Ronald R. Cole, guilty of unlawful possession of 100 grams or more but less than 400 grams of cocaine (720 ILCS 570/402(a)(2)(B) (West 2004)). In August 2004, the court sentenced defendant to 12 years' imprisonment. Defendant appeals, arguing the court erred in denying his motion to suppress...
