David Morales was indicted for one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child. A jury found him guilty of both offenses and assessed punishment at 35 years' imprisonment for the aggravated sexual assault of a child offense and 20 years' imprisonment for the indecency with a child offense.
