A jury convicted Ernest Wayne Grubbs on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky sentenced Grubbs to a total of 195 months of imprisonment on this conviction as well as related charges to which he pleaded guilty.
