Appellant, Michael Gomez, was convicted of murder and sentenced to forty years in the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and fined $10,000. Appellant challenges the conviction by three issues: 1) that the arrest of appellant was illegal and the evidence obtained as a result of the arrest should have been suppressed; 2) that the trial court erred in refusing to give a requested jury instruction...
