Through a complex series of transactions, Scott Gordon embezzled between $117,000 and $189,000 from his former employer, Anchorbank, beginning in June 1995 and ending when he left the bank's employ (voluntarily) in May 2003. Anchorbank first uncovered parts of the scheme in September 2003, and initiated a detailed six-month investigation into Gordon's activities.
