Justice GALLAGHER delivered the opinion of the court:

Following a bench trial, defendant Antonio Howard was convicted of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the armed robbery count and 15 years for the aggravated discharge counts, with the latter sentences to run concurrently. On appeal, defendant contends that the evidence presented by the State at trial failed to prove him guilty
