Brandy M. Blair (Blair) was convicted of intentional child abuse resulting in the death of her 22-month-old son and was sentenced to 30 to 40 years in prison. On June 9, 2004, Christian L. Reifler (Christian) was found dead in the Lincoln, Nebraska, residence where he and Blair lived. It appeared that Christian had placed a staple in an electrical outlet and had been electrocuted.
