FINCHER v. STATE

No. A07A1681.

656 S.E.2d 216 (2007)

FINCHER v. The STATE.

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

December 20, 2007.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Fox, Chandler, Homans, Hicks & McKinnon, Robert L. Chandler, Gainesville, Cheryl H. Kelley, for appellant.

Lee Darragh, District Attorney, Susan A. Beck, Assistant District Attorney, for Appellee.

BERNES, Judge.

James Dewitt Pincher appeals from the denial of his motion for new trial following his convictions for involuntary manslaughter and pointing a gun at another. He contends that the trial court erred in declining to charge the jury on accident, criminal negligence, and its duty not to be governed by sympathy or prejudice; in denying his motion for a continuance; and in denying his motion for funds to hire a firearms expert.
