This case presents a novel issue of a direct contempt proceeding before the Anderson Circuit Court. Appellant, Jacqueline Schroering, was found to be in contempt of court and summarily remanded to the county jail. Thereafter, a second judge sentenced Schroering on the same contempt charge to a fine in the amount of $250. Schroering appeals her conviction as violative of her Constitutional right to due process...
