[¶ 1] Dane Jacobson filed a medical malpractice action against Kenneth F.B. Cobbs, M.D. In the course of litigation, Dr. Cobbs filed a motion for summary judgment supported by his affidavit in which he opined that his treatment of Mr. Jacobson met the applicable standard of care.
