Komson I. Spencer and a cohort, David Williams, restrained and assaulted Nathaniel Ahsoak over a period of several hours. For this conduct, Spencer was convicted of kidnapping and first-degree assault1 and was sentenced to a composite term of 10 years' imprisonment. Spencer now appeals these convictions.
