Defendant Willie B. Aldridge pleaded nolo contendere to four counts of embezzlement under MCL 750.174(4)(a) (involving "money or personal property [with] . . . a value of $1,000.00 or more but less than $20,000.00"), and defendant Bernice W. Bell pleaded nolo contendere to one count of embezzlement under MCL 750.174(3)(a) (involving "money or personal property [with] . . . a value of $200.00 or more but less than $1,000.00").1
