GREENWOOD, Associate Presiding Judge:

¶ 1 Plaintiff Ann V. Maak appeals the trial court's grant of summary judgment in favor of Defendant IHC Health Services, Inc. We affirm in part, and reverse and remand in part.

BACKGROUND

¶ 2 Maak received emergency medical care at LDS Hospital, owned by IHC Health Services, Inc. (IHC), from April 2 to April 5, 2002. When Maak arrived at the hospital, her husband signed, on her behalf...
