{¶ 1} Defendant-appellant Rodney Eckles appeals from his conviction in the Belmont County Common Pleas Court for driving under the influence ("OVI"), a violation of R.C. 4511.19(A)(1)(h). The dispositive issue raised in this appeal is whether Eckles's plea was entered into knowingly, intelligently, and voluntarily. For the reasons stated below, we hold that it was not.
