Thomas Lee Teasley Slaughter (appellant) was indicted for burglary, under Code § 18.2-91, specifically alleging he "did feloniously and unlawfully break and enter in the daytime or nighttime, the dwelling of Charles Williams . . . with intent to commit larceny or other felony therein."
