This is an action brought under G. L. c. 254, § 15A, for summary discharge of several mechanics' liens encumbering the plaintiff's real estate. The plaintiff claims that since the general contractors entered into construction contracts with a tenant of the plaintiff, and not the plaintiff, neither the general contractors nor the subcontractors may encumber the plaintiff's real property and, therefore, he was entitled to a discharge of the liens.
