Bridgett Nell Benson appeals her conviction by a jury of the offenses of burglary of a habitation and theft of property of a value over $1,500 but less than $20,000. The jury assessed her punishment for the burglary at ten years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division, and a fine of $10,000 and recommended that it be suspended and Benson placed on community supervision.
