Defendant was charged in an indictment with one count each of burglary in the second degree and grand larceny in the third degree after he entered a residence in the Village of Liberty, Sullivan County, and took jewelry and compact discs. He pleaded guilty to burglary in the second degree in full satisfaction of the indictment, waiving his right to appeal. County Court thereafter sentenced defendant, as a second felony offender, to the agreed-upon prison...
