On September 19, 2003, Jonathan Wessner went to a party at the Falmouth home of the defendant, Paul R. Nolin, Jr. After a long night spent consuming alcohol and cocaine, the two men left in separate vehicles sometime around 7 A.M., intending to visit a landmark bell tower in Woods Hole.
