In the early-morning hours of July 15, 2000, appellant, Virginia Bailey, and appellee, Marilyn McRoy, were involved in a two-vehicle accident. The wreck occurred at a large, well-lit, intersection that was controlled by a traffic light at approximately 1:30 a.m. Bailey was following an ambulance that was transporting her son to the hospital after he suffered an ATV accident; McRoy was on her way to pick up her husband from work.
