OPINION

HOLLIS HORTON, Justice.

This is an appeal of the trial court's denial of Matthew Cherry's applications for habeas corpus relief under section 11.072 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure. See TEX.CODE CRIM. PROC. ANN. art. 11.072 (Vernon 2005). In his habeas applications, Cherry claims he was deprived of the right to his choice of counsel. We reverse and remand for a new habeas hearing.
