Domingo Lopez borrowed $42,500 from Luz Cruz and Indelfonso Ramos in August 2003. Thereafter, in November 2003, Lopez commenced the underlying Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. In that case, Cruz and Ramos sued Lopez, seeking to deny his discharge, thereby commencing this adversary proceeding.
