Appellant David L. Johnson, by and through his attorney, has filed a motion for belated appeal. His attorney, Hugh R. Laws, states that on January 5, 2007, Johnson filed a defective notice of appeal in that it reserved the right to appeal from an order denying the motion to suppress, rather than the judgment and conviction order.
