Appellee Amanda Burroughs and Larry Kendall have two children out of wedlock: James, d/o/b 5-10-97 and Hannah, d/o/b 7-6-98. Until 2003, Mrs. Burroughs had custody of both children and Mr. Kendall was paying court-ordered child support.
