¶ 1 Brent Smith was convicted of manufacturing methamphetamine based in part on evidence from the warrantless search of a house. Law enforcement searched this house after they found two 1,000 gallon tanks of anhydrous ammonia near the house and after a gun case observed through the window of the house disappeared.
