¶ 1 As part of the investigation of a fatal hit and run car-pedestrian accident, a police officer checked surrounding neighborhoods looking for the vehicle that fled the scene. Driving through an apartment complex, the officer noticed a vehicle partially draped with a cloth car cover that may have met the description of the car for which he was looking.
