The plaintiffs filed suit against the City of Rayne and two of its police officers after the decedent was shot to death following a low-speed pursuit by police officers. The trial court found the defendants liable for wrongful death, apportioning ninety percent of the fault to the defendants and ten percent to the decedent. The trial court awarded general damages in the amount of $650,000.00. The defendants appeal. For the following reasons, we affirm...
