Appellant Jason Limpuangthip, a college student, was convicted after a bench trial of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, in violation of D.C.Code § 48-904.01(a)(1) (2001), possession of drug paraphernalia, in violation of D.C.Code § 33-550 (2001), and possession of psilocylin (mushrooms), in violation of D.C.Code § 48-904.01(d) (2001).
