In this workers' compensation case, Associated Grocers of the South, Inc. ("the employer"), appeals an award of death benefits to Patricia Goodwin ("the dependent"), entered by the Jefferson Circuit Court on March 20, 2006. In its judgment, the trial court determined that the sudden cardiac death of Carl Goodwin ("the employee") on May 26, 2003, was "precipitated" by a May 7, 2003, motor-vehicle accident arising out of and in the course of his employment...
