Marble City Plaza, Inc., petitioned this Court for certiorari review of a decision of the Court of Civil Appeals, arguing that that court's reversal of the trial court's judgment awarding Marble City $20,958.72 in prejudgment interest conflicts with this Court's decision in Williams v. Alabama Power Co., 730 So.2d 172 (Ala.1999).
