By this appeal, the Louisiana Board of Ethics, acting in the capacity of the Supervisory Committee on Campaign Finance Disclosure (Board), challenges the amount of the penalty assessed to a political candidate based on a finding that the candidate violated La. R.S. 18:1505.2(H). The political candidate, in turn, has filed a peremptory exception raising the objection of prescription with this court and challenges the trial court's determination that a violation...
