In this suit for negligence against appellant, Structural Preservation Systems, Inc. (Structural), a jury awarded appellee, David Petty, damages in the amount of $150,000 related to injuries he sustained at his workplace when he tripped and fell over a metal plate in an area where Structural was performing repairs.
