¶ 1. On July 21, 2004, Harold Ousley was convicted of murder and felon in possession of a deadly weapon following a trial conducted in the Circuit Court of Washington County. The trial court directed a verdict of not guilty on a third count of aggravated assault. Ousley was subsequently sentenced to a term of life for the crime of murder and three years for the crime of felon in possession of a deadly weapon with the sentences to run...
