HARPER, J.

This is a legal malpractice action brought by the plaintiffs, Marc Weiner and TMG Marketing, Inc., against the defendant law firm of Brown, Paindiris & Scott, LLP, and one of its partners, the defendant Steven W. Varney.1 On appeal, the plaintiffs challenge the trial court's dismissal of their claims as unripe for adjudication. We reverse the judgment of the trial court.
