This appeal arises out of an action by the plaintiff, the Stamford Wrecking Company (Stamford Wrecking), against the defendants United Stone America, Inc. (United Stone), and Carlos A. Costa1 to recover damages for failure to subcontract abatement and demolition work as promised.
