This civil action stems from a dispute among six people as to the extent of their respective interests in a certain one-acre parcel of real property located in Little Compton, Rhode Island. On May 25, 2005, the trial justice issued a bench decision in which she ruled in large part in favor of the defendants, Joseph Pereira, Monique Medeiros,1 and Travis Cory.
