¶ 1. Bobby D. Bass, Jr. brought a medical malpractice suit against Dr. Richard Hunt Bobo alleging substandard pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, as well as a lack of informed consent. Before trial, Bass moved to disqualify the defense's expert witness; however, his motion was denied. Trial proceeded and the jury returned a verdict in favor of Dr. Bobo.
