We granted certiorari in this election challenge to consider the parameters of the term limitation in La. Const. art. III, § 4(E) and the relationship, if any, between La. Const. art. III, § 4(E) and La. R.S. 18:601(B). We find that La. R.S. 18:601(B) does not conflict with La. Const. art. III, § 4(E) and that the language of La. Const. art. III, § 4(E) precludes Senator Cleo Fields from seeking re-election to Louisiana Senate District...
