On July 14, 2006, Terry Hampton was convicted in the Circuit Court of Neshoba County for possession of cocaine and sentenced to serve a term of four years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and pay a fine of $1,500. Hampton filed a motion for a new trial, which the court denied.
