In this petition for review, George Griggs challenges the order of the Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole (Board) recommitting him to a state correctional institution (SCI) to serve six months backtime as a technical parole violator. The following issue is presented for our review: whether the Board failed to hold a timely violation hearing within 120 days of Griggs's preliminary hearing when three continuances were granted...
