The appellant, Willie Thomas Burton, Jr., was indicted for the capital offense of arson-murder. He was convicted of reckless murder, a violation of § 13A-6-2(a)(2), Ala.Code 1975, and first-degree arson, a violation of § 13A-7-41, Ala.Code 1975.
