This appeal arises from a wrongful-death action in which the Plaintiffs, Rosie Thomas, individually and on behalf of the wrongful-death beneficiaries of Wilson Thomas, Jr., deceased ("Thomas"), alleges negligence against Defendants, The Columbia Group, LLC, The Columbia Group, LLC d/b/a Shady Lane Apartments ("Shady Lane").
