Following a trial by jury, defendant, Triandus Tabb, was convicted of attempted first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and aggravated vehicular hijacking. The trial court merged the first two convictions and defendant was sentenced to 12 years' imprisonment for attempted first degree murder and 4 years' imprisonment for aggravated vehicular hijacking.
