Defendant, Melecia (aka Lecia) Franklin, was convicted of two counts of forgery and one count of felony theft. On each count of forgery, she was sentenced to serve two years' imprisonment at hard labor, to run concurrently. For felony theft, Defendant was sentenced to serve seven years' imprisonment at hard labor, to run consecutively with counts one and two, which was suspended. She was placed on five years' supervised probation and ordered to make restitution...
