In 2003, Elvis Ocon was employed by Regency Motors of Metairie, LLC as an automobile mechanic. He suffered a work-related injury on November 24, 2003 while he was removing a tire from a vehicle. Ocon received medical treatment for his finger injury and workers' compensation benefits which were terminated sometime in 2004.
