KRAMER, Associate Judge:

The appellant, Kevin Edwards, was convicted following a jury trial of First-Degree Premeditated Murder While Armed, Possession of a Firearm During a Crime of Violence, and Carrying a Pistol Without a License. He was sentenced to concurrent terms of thirty-nine, twelve, and five years, respectively. Edwards now argues that the statements he made to the police after they read him his rights pursuant to Miranda v. Arizona,
