Defendant was charged by bill of information with Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property in violation of La. R.S. 14:55, an offense punishable by a fine up to ten thousand dollars or imprisonment at hard labor for not less than one year nor more than fifteen years, or both. The bill charged that on or about February 15, 2005, the defendant "did intentionally committ [sic] aggravated criminal damage to a door, wall, and various parts of the kitchen" belonging...
